equation. They need the right knowledge and the right attitude which demands proper training in the basics of health and safety, as well as specific training for individual tasks.
The Level 2 in Health and Safety in the Workplace course is designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public.

Successful completion of the Level 2 Health & Safety training programme and assessment will ensure candidates are able to:

- Appreciate how workplace equipment and task design affect health and safety

Assessment
The examination of the Level 2 in Health and Safety in the Workplace will consist of an examination paper with 30 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be given 1 hour to complete this. In order to pass the exam, candidates must achieve 20 correct answers or more.
