Virtual Instructor Led NYC 40 Hour SST Site Safety Manager
Descriptions
This Virtual Instructor Led 40 hour SST Site Safety Manager training course has been designed to provide instruction regarding safe working practices in New York City and also to prepare students to take the Site Safety Manager exam. This SST course includes comprehensive instruction on Chapter 33 and the Rules of New York City that address protection as well as a number of other important safety topics. On successful completion of the 62 hours of training required by the DOB, students will qualify for their Supervisor Site Safety Training Card.
Attendees will be required to complete exams for each chapter and be an active participant in all learning events. Certification is valid for 5 years, after which time 8 Hours of SST Training is required to renew the card.
Course Agenda
The Virtual Instructor Led 40 Hour SST Site Safety Manager course will cover the following safety topics:
OSHA 10 Hour Class plus an additional 30 Hours of training consisting of: 8 Hour Fall Protection 8 Hour Chapter 33 4 Hour Supported Scaffold 4 Hour General Electives 4 Hour Special Electives 2 Hour Drug & Alcohol Awareness
Assessment
Attendees will be required to attend full learning hours and achieve a pass rate of at least 70% on each written assessment. Upon successful completion candidates will be issued with a certificate of completion and wallet card. Certification is valid for 5 years, after which time 8 Hours of SST Training is required to renew. Please note certification will take between 5 – 10 business days to be issued.
