


The NCCCO Overhead Crane Operator Prep Course will prepare students for successful completion of the NCCCO written exam and practical test.
Students who successfully complete this NCCCO course will be confident in their preparation for the test and will also be able to competently perform the job requirements of a overhead crane operator.
* Please Note - This is a Prep course ONLY. Written and Practical exams will need to be booked separately *
Students will take part in classroom exercises and hands-on sessions designed to give them an understanding of how to operate two types of overhead crane: Cab operated or pendant / remote control.

The NCCCO Overhead Crane Operator test consists of two parts, a written test and practical exam.
Certificates are valid for a 5 year period; however this may vary if additional NCCCO qualifications are added to a student's card.
Workers who are trained and who currently work in crane operation and require a nationally recognized certification such as NCCCO.

All trainees will receive "Course Joining Instructions" via email 7 to 10 days prior to the course start date. This email will contain all pertinent information about the course and any requirements for the training.
Yes. All trainees receive a confirmation email once a booking has been placed.
Yes. Attendance on every day of the course, at the times given on the joining instructions, is required for successful completion.

Start and finish times are on the Course Joining Instructions which are sent out seven to ten days before the course start date. Anyone who arrives late may be refused entry.
We send joining instructions seven to 10 days before the start of each course. If you book your course less than seven days before it starts, we’ll email them to you within 24 hours of your booking.
