NYC SST 8 Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher / Chapter 33 E-learning Course (DOB Approved)
Description
This 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher training online course has been approved by the NYC DOB and is a renewal requirement for the NYC Department of Buildings Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, and the Construction Superintendent. Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, and Construction Superintendents must successfully complete this course during the 1 year immediately prior to renewing their license. A Site Safety Coordinator must complete this course annually to renew the coordinator certification.
Anyone wishing to complete this course must have high speed internet access and a web camera. Students will be monitored throughout the course by facial recognition, in compliance with RCNY 105-03.

Objectives
This online NYC Site Safety Manager Refresher course is a thorough review of Chapter 33 and the rules of New York City related to site safety. During this course, students will learn the roles and responsibilities of the Site Safety Coordinator including how to protect employees and the public during construction and demolition within New York City.

- Compare roles and responsibilities of NYC DOB licensed site safety professionals.
- Determine job safety protocols during construction and demolition operation in NYC that protect the employees, public and property.
- Differentiate between OSHA Standard and New York City DOB Chapter 33 regulations
- Define site safety plan requirements
- Understand how to use tools safely on the jobsite
- Analyze jobsite safety violations and emergency situations
Assessment
Attendees will be required to attend full learning hours and achieve a pass rate of at least 70% on the written assessment.
Who Should Attend
Anyone wishing to renew their Site Safety Manager License, Site Safety Coordinator certificate, and NY Construction Superintendent registration.
Prerequisites
Anyone wishing to complete this course must have high speed internet access and a web camera.
Prior to starting the course, during the enrolment process, registrants will need to take a photo to verify their identity and upload a government issued photo ID. Facial biometric verification is used throughout the course please make sure that your photo is clear with a simple background. No hats or headphones should be worn and avoid sitting in front of a light source as it will interfere with the facial biometrics verification. This photo will be used for your SST Card.
