


This interactive HAZWOPER 24-Hour online course is aimed at personnel engaged in hazardous waste operations and who are considered "occasional site workers". The course will cover how to operate in the safest possible manner in situations where contact with potentially hazardous materials is likely. The course will cover 24 comprehensive modules which are taught in a variety of formats including video, audio voiceover, student interaction, module assessment, content review and an online examination which takes place at the end of the training.
Students can complete the online course at their own pace. There are no maximum or capped hours in the course, but delegates MUST complete the training within 90 days of registration. All students will be required to complete a minimum of 24 hours training as outlined by OSHA.
Please Note - Employees who have duties involving the handling or cleaning up hazardous materials in any manner should take OSHA 40-hour Online HAZWOPER course. This 24-hour course is specifically for "Occasional Site Workers" (individuals who ARE NOT required to handle waste or hazardous materials as a part of their job function).

The format for the assessment & examination of this online course is as follows:
Module Assessment
At the end of each module students are required to complete a "knowledge check" assessment which requires a pass rate of 80% or higher.
Online Exam
The online examination requires trainees to achieve a pass rate of 70% or higher. Users are allowed 3 attempts to pass. If all 3 attempts are failed the course must be re-purchased.
A hardcopy certificate and 24-Hour HAZWOPER wallet card will be posted to successful candidates.
