Telehandler Operator Online Course

Prior to operation of a telehandler or a forklift, OSHA requires employees to successfully complete a training program that includes formal instruction, practical training, and evaluation.

This online telehandler operator training program is designed to help students complete the initial phase of formal instruction required by OSHA 1910.178(l)(2)(ii) and provides information regarding safe and professional operation of the equipment.

PLEASE NOTE – Upon successful completion of this online training program, the trainee is responsible for scheduling and successfully completing a practical evaluation under the direction of a qualified person in order to demonstrate proficiency and complete the requirements for training.



On successful completion of this online safety course, students will be able to sufficiently demonstrate their knowledge of the subject matter and move forward with their training to the practical and evaluation portions.

  • OSHA regulations and applicable standards


Candidates will be required to complete a multiple-choice test at the end of each section of the online training and must achieve a passing score of 100% before moving to the next module.

Students successfully completing this online course are responsible for scheduling their practical evaluation and completing the training program.
